Every year the Vancouver Lions Club sends one lucky couple to Hawaii; And at the same time, our Hawaiian Holiday For Two raffle raises several thousands of dollars that support Vancouver Lions Club sight and hearing programs.
Our 2013–2014 winning ticket was drawn on February 20, 2014. And the winner is: Lars Larson of Vancouver, Washington! (No. Not that Lars Larson, but a Lars Larson equally famous in his own right)!
So if you are not Lars Larson, you will have to wait until February 19, 2015 to get another chance at a, free, round trip to Honolulu, Hawaii—8 days and 7 nights lounging around the world famous Waikiki Beach. But fear not; our Lions will be out and about this coming fall with fresh tickets for the 2014–2015 Hawaiian Holiday raffle!
This year’s raffle raised nearly $10,000 that will help people in our community who can not afford to pay for their sight and hearing care needs. So, while we congratulate our winner, we also say “Thank You” to everyone who bought the tickets that make our sight and hearing work possible.
We truly appreciate your help!
This year the raffle drawing will be held at the Club‘s regular dinner meeting on February 19, 2015. And again, we are only printing 3,000 tickets! Your odds of winning the grand prize are 1 in 3,000— 1 in 600 if you buy 5 for $20.00.
The winner receives round trip airfare to Honolulu, Hawaii, plus 8 days and 7 nights at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel on Waikiki Beach, Oahu, Hawaii.
Don‘t miss out on your chance to win! Better hurry—there are only 3,000 tickets available; And when they are gone…
Good luck! And, happy traveling!
